A weekend to explore ways to heal ourselves and others through a return to the land. This will be an introduction to the many ways in which we can deepen and understand our connections with the natural world. We will explore a range of teachings and techniques. Threaded through the teachings will be times for us to sit or walk alone with the land and allow the trees, birds and others to interact with us.
You will be introduced to:
Native American Medicine Wheel teachings, basic belief systems of indigenous peoples, and how they contrast with our own.
Ways in which different forms of therapeutic practice – bodywork, imaginal work, movement, art – can be used in relation to the land.
We will meet in a yurt with a stove and be able to wander the wooded spaces around it.
